Schedule & Equipment List

Saturday, February 2nd
8:00 – 4:00pm
6:30 – 10pm

Sunday, February 3rd
8:00am – 2:00pm

All participants must be physically able to be outside in inclement weather for up to 8 hours. Be sure to bring appropriate gear – plan on poor weather, poor visibility, rain, wind, snow, etc . . .

Equipment List

  • skis, boots, poles, skins or snowshoes and poles
  • backpack
  • bandana
  • chap stick
  • compass
  • duct tape
  • gloves; heavy & light pair
  • goggles & sunglasses
  • gortex jacket and pants
  • hat (beanie and ballcap)
  • knife or leatherman
  • layers / dry clothes
  • light rope
  • pencil & write in the rain notebook
  • repair kit; pole baskets, binding cables, binding screws
  • shovel
  • lunch & snacks for both days
  • sunscreen
  • water

    If you have access to a Beacon and GPS, please bring them. Some will be available to borrow.
