The TNSAR Board of Directors has provided this guidance
to review procedures and update the TNSAR team on the COVID-19 situation as it relates to SAR
activities. It is important to stay grounded and informed in these uncertain times. Please
contact any board member should you
have questions or concerns.
The TNSAR Board of Directors has also posted a
Community Message regarding backcountry travel that we strongly encourage anyone
pondering back country adventures to read and contemplate.
Note that all the trainings, search reports, and newsletter from any particular season
(past or present) are under the "Archives" menu drop down at the top of any page.
TNSAR is always looking for fresh faces and new enthusiasm. We are a team of broad
roles, interests and needs, to include but not limited to:
- Searchers (skiers and sledders)
- Comm Van personnel
- Truck caretakers
- Administrative
- Public Relations
- Grant and Donation management
- WWW management
- TGSR (the list here is endless)
