TNSAR got a call at 11 am that a skier with an injured ankle needed help getting back to Sugarbowl from the Benson Hut. On a beautiful, calm day, 4 skiers started out from Judah Lodge with the Cascade sled to access along the ridge and 2 snowmobilers started up Coldstream to access from below. The snowmobilers had mechanical problems and returned to the trailhead. The skiers made contact with the injured skier and her party of about 8 and started the pull out in the sled. It went well, though slow on the uphills, and the snowmobilers had time to get up to Sugarbowl and come out the ridge to provide a lift for the injured skier to the lodge.
